## Run one task end to end
Start with a task small enough that its finished state is obvious, so the
handoff has something unambiguous to carry. This command prints a message; it
installs and runs no application.
```sh
printf 'Ready for a static walkthrough.\n'
```
## What comes next
The operational pages describe how a task crosses a handoff and which limits
bound it: the [operations runbook](./operations/runbook.md) gives the order to
check a stalled task in, and [operational limits](./operations/limits.md) gives
the bounds each step runs under. The [glossary](../reference/glossary.md)
defines the terms all three pages use.
